Our Ministries

Jail

The congregation in Elizabethtown, in cooperation with the Highway 313 congregation of Radcliff, Ky, visits the Hardin County Detention Center 24 times per year to conduct Bible study classes for the men, women and the juvenile boys and girls. Eighteen of our members have been trained through the detention center and are certified to teach in the facility. The church of Christ has been introduced to hundreds of people who may have never heard the truth if it were not for this program. We have developed a network for outreach to those who are released or who have been transferred to another detention facility.

Food Center

Our food center provides food for the needy of our community. We issue a 35 to 40 pound box of assorted food products. Each family may only visit one time per month. On an average day we will give out 20-30 boxes. The food center is located behind the main church building. The food center is open on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Clothing Center

Our clothing center provides clothing for the needy of our community.  All clothing is donated by members of our congregation and members of our community. The clothing center provides assistance to approximately 75 families per month. The clothing center is open on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The clothing center is located behind the main church building.
